1. Who is your collection software designed for (Collection Agencies, Collection Attorneys, Debt Buyers or Other)?

Our software is designed for collection attorneys, collection agencies, debt buyers, forwarders, and companies who manage collection activity.

2. What platform or operating system is your software designed for (Windows, DOS, Unix, Linux or Other)?

CaseTrackerLAW is platform independent. The user only requires a web browser to access the system. Our system may be accessed from anyplace, at anytime.

3. What should a company consider when purchasing collection software?

A company should review the features that are offered by the software. It is important that the system the company is looking for will adapt to their operations.

A company should be aware of the technical support and training offered by the software providers.

It is necessary for a company to speak with other firms who are using their software to understand the pros and cons of the system.

The software should be suited to fit all the needs of your clients and their demands.

The software should easily be able to fit your specific needs, rather than a company adapting to the software.

It is important to know if the software limits you to claims or users, or charges you for changes.

Interfaces are a way of the future; Can the software interface with others and how can you download your data into a friendly format?

Yes, we offer tri level trust accounting.

B) Does your software interface with a word processor?

Yes, with both Word and Word Perfect.

C) Does your software provide imaging capabilities?

Yes, we provide document-imaging capability as well as storage of documents to claims so as to retrieve upon demand.

D) Does your software integrate with report generators?

It can integrate with crystal reports and has the ability to download into any type of report generators.

E) Does your software provide open access?

Yes, with the exception to the source code.

F) Does your software interface with YGC (YouveGotClaims) or any other EDI standard?

Yes, we provide free interface with YGC, as well as any other interface the client may need.

G) Does your system interface with 3rd party vendors (skip tracing, dialers, mail processing etc.)

Yes, our system allows you to network with clients, forwarders, remote collectors, forwarding attorneys and process servers, simply by assigning a username and granting privileges.

H) Is your software web based?

Yes, we are pioneers of web-based software.

5. What are all the costs involved including software installation, training, support, and extra modules?

Our costs can vary from $1,500 upwards, with a fixed monthly fee, which is currently $300.
The cost will depend on the company’s specific, customized needs.
Most custom modules do not exceed $500.00.

6. Is your software user friendly and what type of training and IT support do you offer?

Our software is extremely user friendly, with icons, legends, and text that are easy to follow.
Most clients require just a few hours and in most cases, there is never a need for further training.
IT support can solve most any problems in minutes - not days.
We provide video and audio training as well.

7. Does your system permit remote work sites?

Yes, you can access the system from anywhere in the world. All that is required is your computer and a hot spot.

8. What type of security is in place for data?

Our system is tested and certified daily to pass the FBI/SANS Internet Security Test. Our systems security meets the highest security scanning standards of the U.S. government, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and JCB.

9. How many active users do you have?

We have several hundred companies, attorneys and forwarders using our system.

10. Do you have a user group?

Not at this time.

11. Can a buyer obtain a copy of the source code?

Only if the software is custom and propriety to the client. We do provide storage of the source code in escrow for each of our clients with local counsel for their protection.

12. Where do you see the future is headed for collection software?

The future of collection software is essential to any office. We believe clients (creditors) will continue to make certain requests, such as the electronic placement of claims, the ability to manage the status of each claim, and the ability to communicate electronically. Software will continue to reduce labor and provide more efficient productivity for both the client and host. We perceive that the networking between clients and the host will be most effective in the near future. Software will become even more user friendly than it is today, and will continue to provide detailed customization to fit one’s needs.
